Stein Fjell Book Club

For our July book club meeting, we will be reading Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah. One of Hannah’s most compelling reads, Winter Garden is the story of two sisters who, in mid-life, are called upon to care for their dying father and aging mother. The daughters finally learn the truth  about the Russian fairy tale told to them as young children by their beautiful mother, and learn of their mother’s past in wartorn Leningrad. This knowledge contains harrowing secrets that “Shake the very foundation of their family and change who they believe they are. ”
